weight correction

So if you read in my earlier post Hayden weighed 16 pds. at his 4 month appt. Well I decided to weigh him again because he has already grown a ton. He is now 18 pds. What a chunker!!! :)

Hayden baby

Hayden had his 4 month appointment a few weeks ago. He is definitely growing. He is now 16 pounds and 9 ounces. The poor kid takes after Blake and is now on soy formula. It surprised me how well he took the formula and the bottle. The hardest time he had with the whole thing was at church when he just wanted to nurse to go to sleep. He is such a sweet boy and we are so thankful for him everyday.

Summer fun

I have been such a slacker at updating my blog. I blame that on three kids and the lack of sleep they bring to my life. We actually have been pretty busy this summer and have done quite a few things. Here are a few of them that I actually remembered to bring my camera:

We went to Silver Lake and Donut Falls. We had a lot of fun. The boys had a blast climbing rocks, trees and playing in the water.

Hayden was a trooper and slept for most of the day. He is such a good boy.


Chris had to carry Blake on his shoulders most of the way. Blake could have walked himself but why when Dad is there to do it for you?


Happy 4th of July. Grandma Karren bought these cute flag patriotic shirts for the boys.
We had a lot of fun at This is the Place for the Days of '47 free day. The pictures are a little out of order. The boys had fun at the baby animal petting area.

Blake loved the baby goats. He kept talking about them that day and told Chris that he wanted one for a pet. I had to drag him away from them when it was time to go.

Blake has his own mind and is not willing to change it for anyone but himself. If he couldn't see the baby goats, he didn't want to see any baby animals. He decided to just play in the stream until Jackson was done petting the babies.

The boys were so excited to ride horses. They did a good job of waiting in the long line in the hot sun.

The other day we were outside and Blake climbed a fence next to our playground like it was nothing. He then had to show Jackson how to climb it. I took a picture and told the boys no more climbing. Blake is such a little monkey!

My chunky Cabbage Patch

Hayden is two months! It has gone by so fast. He went in for his doctor's appointment yesterday. He now weighs 12 Ibs. 14 oz. He is in the 97% for his height. He is getting so big. He has started smiling a lot more now. If you can get him to smile really big he looks just like a cabbage patch doll. It just cracks me up. We love Hayden so much. He is such a sweet boy.

I am such a slacker mom. I didn't even think about taking pictures until everyone had already left. This poor kid. He will definantly have a complex when he sees all the pictures that his brothers have when they were babies and he will see the very few from when he was a baby.

Spring pictures

So I thought that I would take the boys to take some fabulous pictures that I could give to the fam at Hayden's blessing. I went by myself (that was a mistake). This was our first outing that we have taken since Hayden has come. The boys weren't horrible but they wouldn't stay by me when I was taking individual pictures. I gave up on that. On the group pictures, Blake kept looking around or Jackson kept smooshing Hayden. I really wished they would have worked out because it took a lot of work to get them all dressed up and downtown. Oh well. Here are some pictures of our uneventful photo shoot.

Easter

We had a lot of fun at the Nielsen Easter party on Saturday. The boys looked for easter eggs. Jackson had fun in the races.

The boys looked good in their Easter outfits. We only had time to take a quick picture on the couch because our church starts at 9:00. By the time we got home, their clothes were dirty. We will have to get them dressed up again and take them to Temple Square and take some more pictures.

The boys had so much fun coloring eggs today. They can't wait until it is Easter.

It's about time...

Our little guy has finally come! Hayden Moroni was born April 2. He was 2o inches and a whopping 9 Ibs. Hayden had to show us that he is in charge. After being 16 days late, I went to the hospital to be induced. Hayden still was going to show us that he had the power. The doctor lives 10 minutes away and he barely made it. Our little guy came before we could finish the epidural. I could tell that he was going to be big. He swallowed some merconium and so he had to be taken away as soon as he was out. I didn't get to see him for almost and hour after he was born. My nurse was making bets with me about how big he would be. She didn't think he would weigh more then 8 Ibs. I figured that he was in the upper range of 8 Ibs. Our mouths both dropped when Chris finally came and told us his weight. We are very glad that Hayden is healthy. I will put more pictures up later.



The boys love their little brother so much. They are so ready to help with anything and give lots of hugs and kisses.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

We didn't do much for St. Patrick's Day. The boys just had fun wearing their new shirts and Jackson had a fun party at school. We had a shirt for our new baby but he has decided that he doesn't really want to come yet. So all we can do is wait and he will have to wear his green shamrock shirt another day.

My brother got two puppies. The boys had fun playing with them.
