Gardner Village and pumpkin patch

Blake is 4!

Blake had his party at Wheeler Farm. I went to take pictures and realized my batteries in my camera were dead. Lovely. Here are a few from my phone. One of our neighbors had his camera and took some awesome pictures.

Welcome to the Keller house, Ms. Toothfairy

Jackson has lost one tooth and has a few more loose ones. How did my baby get so big?

Blake's first day of school

Blake started pre-school the first of September. We were a little worried how he would handle it because he is such a headstrong child and his teacher likes things her way. Luckily, Blake adores Ms. Larraine and does anything she tells him to.

Our fishing adventure

The boys have been begging to go fishing. We went up the canyon a few Saturday's ago.
Blake didn't really care about the fishing. He just wanted to play in the freezing water.

Cheetoh face Hayden.

Jackson is in Kindergarten

Jackson started Kindergarten the end of July. He loves it so much. He has an awesome teacher and his school is also awesome. I am Secretary for the PTA so I get an inside look at what is happening there. All I can say is "WOW". I could not have asked for a better school experience.

Summer in a nutshell

I know that I am so behind on blogging for the summer. I didn't have a computer for part of the summer and then I just got so busy with school starting and PTA projects. It doesn't look like life will be slowing down anytime soon so I guess I am just going to have to find time to blog.

Here is our summer in a very small nutshell:

My aunt Terri always paints characters for the kids to get their pictures taken with for the 24th of July.

Chris' parents gave us a trip to Newport beach for Christmas. We had lots of fun at a beach house for a week. Hayden did not like the ocean. He loves swimming but the waves freaked him out. He is upset that Chris is holding him in the water.

We thought that this starfish was dead. A teenage girl was carrying around the beach. Blake wanted to look at it. After he flashed his smile at her, she told him he could keep it. We later found out that it was alive. We took a picture and put it back in the water.

Hayden had lots of fun in the sand.

Jackson had a blast swimming in the waves and looking for seashells.

More Newport Beach

Taking the ferry to Balboa Island.
Grandpa Larry and Hayden doing what they do best together.....napping!

Jackson is so proud of his boogie boarding skills.

Blake hated the ocean. He had a few too many uncles telling him their were sharks in the water. He would only play in the sand.

Jackson would sit in the water and wait for the waves to pull him out. We had to stand nearby or else we were afraid he would get pulled too far in.

I have more pictures from the start of our trip. My camera was dead so they are on my MIL's camera. I will have to add them later.

Stolen idea

I am stealing an idea from my cousin, Carrie, to help private blogs not so forgotten. This is how it works. This blog is public so you can put this in your blogroll, update list or however it is you manage your blogs. I will hyperlink the public blog to the private blog so you will know when it's been updated. I guess that I should probably keep up on my updates now! :)

Pre-school graduation

Jackson graduated from Ms. Larraine's pre-school. We love her as a teacher so much!
They had a little program. It was hard to get good ones of Jackson. Here is the best I could do. Jackson practiced constantly for a week before it started. He would stand in front of the mirror to "make sure he was doing it right."
Blake is now excited because he gets to go to Ms. Larraine's next year.

Joys of Motherhood

Yes, this is my couch cushion with an iron print in it! Need I say more?

Red Butte Gardens

We went to Red Butte Gardens for Arbor day. It was a little snowy but we needed to get out of the house. Hayden was very upset the whole time that I was trying to keep the snow off of him. He wanted to see what was going on and didn't want to be bundled.
The boys had so much fun in the Children's garden. We will definitely be going back when it is warmer and the fountains are turned on.

The boys got to plant a tree. They were so proud of them. They check them everyday to make sure they are growing. I can't wait until they are bigger so I can put them outside.

Hayden's one year stats

I know I am a little behind on these but better late than never, right? Hayden is 32 inches tall and 25 pounds. The funny thing is that he has stayed the same weight since December but has moved up 2 sizes in clothes. I am not sure how that worked. We love Hayden so much. He is such a sweetheart!

Kites

It really was not windy today but the boys have been dying to use their kites since they got them for Easter. They mostly just ran around with them or made their Uncle Tyler run around with them.

Here is a picture of Blake with my parents dog. He really loves him. Blake is always whispering secrets to him and trying to feed him.
