Utah Symphony in the Park

We went to our yearly tradition of seeing the Utah Symphony in the park.  The Prax Family came with us.  I am really glad that Jamie brought her camera because I forgot mine.  Here are some crazy pictures of the kids before the symphony started.

Hayden is taking a "Learn How to Play Soccer" class.  He has a lot of fun with it.  His t-ball class starts soon.

First Grade Program

Jackson had his first grade program.  It was so stinkin' cute.  They all did a great job.  It was all about rain, spring, rainbows, etc.  Jackson danced to Singing in the Rain.  Of course my picture didn't work out.  It was by far the cutest elementary program I have ever seen.

Jackson & soccer

Jackson is playing soccer this spring.  I don't think he really likes it much.  He just wants his trophy at the end.  I don't know that Jackson likes playing sports much at all.  He wants to play them but when they don't come naturally, he is done.  What do you do?  At least he is getting some exercise in.

Blake and T-ball

Here are a few pictures of Blake playing T-ball.  He really likes to play.  I think that next year will be better for him because he will be on a team only with 6 year olds.  He has a lot of 3 year olds on his team and it doesn't make the game as fun.  

 Blake refused to use the tee.  If his coach gets it out for him, he gets very offended and tells the coach that he can pitch it to Blake.

Museum of Natural History

We were able to go to the new Natural History Museum for free.  It was really fun.  I am thinking about getting a year pass.  The boys were so excited to see all the new exhibits, they wouldn't stop long enough for me to take a picture.  Here are a few that I was able to get that are not complete blurs of kids running to see the next thing. :)  

 The kids really like to see the paleontologists.   I am sure they loved being stared at and having the camera flash in their faces.

We had a fun Easter.  I forgot to take pictures of the boys in their new outfits but here are a few of them collecting eggs.

Happy Birthday Hayden!!

I can't believe that my baby is 3!  He is growing up so fast.  He is a funny kid and knows how to make his brothers love him to death one minute and want to kill him the next.

 Hayden has been asking for a "blue bike" for a long time.  He zooms around our playground on his friends bike that is like this one.  He was very happy to get this.

We love our Hayden and can't imagine life without him.

Jackson decided that he wanted to be in the talent show at his school.  He conned his friend Emma into being in it with him.  They were pretty cute.  It is not the best recording but it will do.

Jackson is 7!

I am only a month behind on posting this. I don't know why I have been so bad at blogging lately. I either forget to take pictures or have pictures and never post them. We will see if I get better.

Reading Party

The boys read enough hours in November to be invited to the KUED reading party. It was awesome. The boys had so much fun. Hayden really enjoyed the animals that were there. They had the service dogs that go to the hospital there. Hayden "tried out" each dog until he found the one that he liked the most, plopped down next to it and just gave it a lot of love. We also had to pull him away from the snake because he couldn't stop petting it.

We took the boys friend, Bradlee with us because they were moving during the party. He is making slime.

We also had to pull Hayden away from the armadillo. He kept trying to pull it out of a ball. I am slightly concerned about what animals he is going to try to bring home with him one day.

Hayden's broken foot

I had to take a white trash kid with no pants picture to be able to see Hayden's cast. We think he fell from Jackson's bunk bed but we are not sure. He seemed fine after it happened so we didn't think it was broken. After two weeks of tripping a lot, we took him to check out his foot. Yep, it was broken. The cast didn't slow him down at all. He was running so hard on it, his walking shoe only lasted 4 days. He just ran on the cast for the rest of the time. Crazy kid!! I am pretty sure this won't be his last cast.
