Jackson is Dy-no-mite!!

Jackson decided that he wanted to be in the talent show at his school.  He conned his friend Emma into being in it with him.  They were pretty cute.  It is not the best recording but it will do.

Jackson is 7!

I am only a month behind on posting this. I don't know why I have been so bad at blogging lately. I either forget to take pictures or have pictures and never post them. We will see if I get better.

Reading Party

The boys read enough hours in November to be invited to the KUED reading party. It was awesome. The boys had so much fun. Hayden really enjoyed the animals that were there. They had the service dogs that go to the hospital there. Hayden "tried out" each dog until he found the one that he liked the most, plopped down next to it and just gave it a lot of love. We also had to pull him away from the snake because he couldn't stop petting it.

We took the boys friend, Bradlee with us because they were moving during the party. He is making slime.

We also had to pull Hayden away from the armadillo. He kept trying to pull it out of a ball. I am slightly concerned about what animals he is going to try to bring home with him one day.

We saw many different characters.

Hayden's broken foot

I had to take a white trash kid with no pants picture to be able to see Hayden's cast. We think he fell from Jackson's bunk bed but we are not sure. He seemed fine after it happened so we didn't think it was broken. After two weeks of tripping a lot, we took him to check out his foot. Yep, it was broken. The cast didn't slow him down at all. He was running so hard on it, his walking shoe only lasted 4 days. He just ran on the cast for the rest of the time. Crazy kid!! I am pretty sure this won't be his last cast.

We were also able to see Donner and Blitzen.

Halloween

Mountain Trip

We decided to go for a Sunday drive and look at all the colors in the mountains. The boys had a fun time.

Hayden loved throwing rocks in the water. That is pretty much all he did the whole time.

Blake's party

Happy 5th Birthday Blake!!

I can't believe that Blake is 5. We love him so much and can't imagine our family without him. He is a very good brother. Blake loves to cook and wants to be a chef when he grows up. We decided to get him an Easy Bake Oven. Blake usually holds his emotions in and tries not to let people see what he is feeling. He was so excited he was squealing with delight. He even loved the hotwheels. He just kept saying how awesome his birthday present was. Bobby Flay started his career with an easy bake so maybe Blake will be the next Bobby!! :) Blake will be having a birthday party later in the week. More pictures to come.

Block party

Our apartments had their annual block party. The boys always have a blast. This was Hayden's favorite moment. Sitting with a piece of candy with his Home Depot apron on. He kept sighing and smiling.
The boys love to check out all the trucks.

Lots of fun!

The highlight of the day for Jackson was to meet all the U of U basketball players. Blake didn't care about them until one of them told him that his name was Blake too.

Circus fun!!

We have some awesome friends that gave us tickets to go to the circus. Jackson and Blake really loved it.

The boys now only want to play that they are in the circus.

Blake is so excited to be in school again. He really loves all the friends he has in his class.

Firehouse visit

State Fair

We went to the State Fair last week. We had a lot of fun. The pictures are all out of order but I don't care enough to fix them. My brother Wayne came with us. We were watching a comedic juggler and he came out in the audience and picked Wayne to come up and help him. It was pretty funny.
The juggler also picked Blake to help him. He kept dropping his pins and telling Blake to pick them up.

There was a very cute children's section. It taught the kids about farming and how things make it to the store. Here are some random pictures from that. Hayden collecting eggs.
