Church History Museum
We took the kids to the Church History Museum. They really enjoyed seeing all the things from pioneer times. They especially loved the children's section of the museum.
Summer 2011
I have been horrible at taking pictures this summer. I either have forgot to bring my camera or brought my camera but was too busy wrangling kids to take pictures. We had a fun summer but are ready for school to start. Jackson will start 1st grade and Blake will be in preschool. That will leave 4 hours for Hayden and me to bond. It will be great to go grocery shopping with only one child. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it! Here are a few pictures at This is the Place. The boys had a blast.

Last day of Kindergarten
Fun at the zoo
We went to the opening day of the dinosaurs at the zoo. There was lots of fun stuff to do. Jackson is working hard at the dinosaur dig.
The zoo had a dinosaur puppet. The boys thought it was really cool until it's nose touched Hayden on the nose. He freaked out and Chris had to hold him until the show was over.

Hayden is 2!!
I am such a fabulous mom that I forgot to take any pictures of Hayden's birthday. I blame this on the horrible cake experience that I had before the party. I was making him a cake like the one below. It pretty much is the same thing but I wasn't going to put a Buzz on the top.
I couldn't find my regular frosting recipe so I just thought that I would try a different one. Big mistake. I had the cakes stacked, all the fondant pieces cut out, and was just sticking them where they needed to go. All the sudden, the whole cake started to shift and the next thing I know, frosting and raspberry filling are coming out of the bottom of the cake underneath the fondant. I could not get the cake to stop falling so I gave up and made Hayden cupcakes instead. I was so depressed after spending so much time on the cake that I didn't even think to take any pictures. Poor boy! Hopefully he knows he is loved even though I never take pictures of him.
