T-ball

I apologize for my crappy pictures. I really think that I need a new camera. Mine is not taking as good of pictures as it used to.

I think that Blake is pretty fun to watch. He actually pays attention to the game and dives for every ball when he is in the outfield. He told his coach that he doesn't want to play on first base because he wants to chase the ball around.

Soccer

Jackson is having a blast in soccer this year.

Easter Carnival

The boys had a lot of fun at the University Village Easter carnival.

They each planted some flowers. None of them would pose for me so this is the best picture I got with their pots.

Nursery Rhyme Program

The Kindergarten class held their annual Nursery Rhyme program. Jackson was a cow. He is on the first row, second one to the right.

I couldn't get the best pictures. There were way too many parents trying to snap pics of their kids. It was a cute program and turned out well.

Hayden is 2!!

I am such a fabulous mom that I forgot to take any pictures of Hayden's birthday. I blame this on the horrible cake experience that I had before the party. I was making him a cake like the one below. It pretty much is the same thing but I wasn't going to put a Buzz on the top.

I couldn't find my regular frosting recipe so I just thought that I would try a different one. Big mistake. I had the cakes stacked, all the fondant pieces cut out, and was just sticking them where they needed to go. All the sudden, the whole cake started to shift and the next thing I know, frosting and raspberry filling are coming out of the bottom of the cake underneath the fondant. I could not get the cake to stop falling so I gave up and made Hayden cupcakes instead. I was so depressed after spending so much time on the cake that I didn't even think to take any pictures. Poor boy! Hopefully he knows he is loved even though I never take pictures of him.

Disneyland

We decided back in the summer that we were going to take the boys to Disneyland as a surprise. We didn't tell them until we had been driving for 3 hours and they asked where we were going. We recorded their reactions but it is really hard to see because it was 6 in the morning and still dark out. Chris asked them where they would go if they could go anywhere. Jackson yelled, "McDonalds!" I didn't know it was so exciting there. Here are just some pictures from our trip. We had lots of fun. It rained on us for one day. We just put on our ponchos and kept going.

We had to see all the Toy Story characters because Hayden loves them sooo much!!! We was so happy to see them until they tried to talk to him and he would freak out.

On our way to our hotel after the first day in Disneyland, Jackson said, "That was better than going to Costco!" My kids really need to get out more! :)

This was the first ride we went on. Hayden wasn't to sure about Buzz. We ended up on that ride 2 more times.

We had so much fun and the boys are already planning when we can go again.

Ice skating

We took the kids ice skating. They had a lot of fun.

This is not the best picture because I took it through the glass but it is the only one I have with Jackson.

Hayden cracked me up. He didn't like to skate on the ice but he loved wearing his skates on the foamy floor around the rink. By the end of the afternoon he was twirling pretty well.

Happy Birthday Mr. Jackson

Jackson turns 6 tomorrow but we had his party today. He chose a Harry Potter theme. The pictures are really out of order but right now I don't really care enough to fix them. You will have to deal. Hayden is actually posing for a picture and smiling. That never happens.
Some of Jackson's cute friends eating cake and making their crafts.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACTION JACKSON!!!

The kids are using their magic wands to make a feather float.

Jackson wanted a sorting hat cake. I think that it turned out pretty good. It looks really freaky on all the pictures. I think it looked better in real life. Jackson loved it. That is all that matters.....right?

Just thought I would brag.....

I made this cute (if I do say so myself) Valentines wreath from coffee filters. It makes me happy every time I walk past it. Now I just need to find a way to make my nasty door look nicer.

December

Here is the whole month of December in one post. It was such a crazy month and I had no time for anything extra like blogging! Chris has decided that he is going to get his MPA. Our lease for our townhouse was up the end of December. After much thought, prayer, and consideration, we decided that we needed to move back to student housing at the U. We were able to get an apartment in our old court. Everything worked out so well we really knew it was meant to be. Santa visited the boys a little early. This was taken the first week of December. He woke them up while they were asleep. They thought it was pretty cool.

We went to The Christmas Shoppe so the boys could pock out their ornaments for this year. The elves were pretty cute.

The gingerbread train that the boys made.

We picked a perfect night to go to Temple Square. It was so warm. I think by the end of the night everyone had taken off their hats and gloves. We went with the Prax family. My boys can't get enough of them.

I love Blake's hat hair in this picture.

My cute Hayden baby. Too bad he is becoming more of a boy than baby.

We were able to score some free tickets to Candlelight Christmas at
This is the Place. Here are the kids on the train. We are with the Prax family again. Maybe Chris and I can't get enough of them either! :)

Emma in between the boys. They both love her so much. They are always discussing who likes her the most. I hope this doesn't cause problems when they are older. :)

The boys had fun petting the animals.

Jackson did a great job at his Christmas assembly. It is really hard to see him but he is in the front row between the two girls.

Christmas Eve with the Stoker family.

Christmas morning. Hayden would not turn around. He was too happy about his kitchen.

Oh how Hayden loves Toy story.
