Easter

We had a lot of fun at the Nielsen Easter party on Saturday. The boys looked for easter eggs. Jackson had fun in the races.

Easter morning

The boys looked good in their Easter outfits. We only had time to take a quick picture on the couch because our church starts at 9:00. By the time we got home, their clothes were dirty. We will have to get them dressed up again and take them to Temple Square and take some more pictures.

The boys had so much fun coloring eggs today. They can't wait until it is Easter.

It's about time...

Our little guy has finally come! Hayden Moroni was born April 2. He was 2o inches and a whopping 9 Ibs. Hayden had to show us that he is in charge. After being 16 days late, I went to the hospital to be induced. Hayden still was going to show us that he had the power. The doctor lives 10 minutes away and he barely made it. Our little guy came before we could finish the epidural. I could tell that he was going to be big. He swallowed some merconium and so he had to be taken away as soon as he was out. I didn't get to see him for almost and hour after he was born. My nurse was making bets with me about how big he would be. She didn't think he would weigh more then 8 Ibs. I figured that he was in the upper range of 8 Ibs. Our mouths both dropped when Chris finally came and told us his weight. We are very glad that Hayden is healthy. I will put more pictures up later.



The boys love their little brother so much. They are so ready to help with anything and give lots of hugs and kisses.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

We didn't do much for St. Patrick's Day. The boys just had fun wearing their new shirts and Jackson had a fun party at school. We had a shirt for our new baby but he has decided that he doesn't really want to come yet. So all we can do is wait and he will have to wear his green shamrock shirt another day.

Puppies

My brother got two puppies. The boys had fun playing with them.

Jackson turned 4 on Friday. We went bowling. The boys had a blast.

Christmas

We had a great Christmas. We hope everyone else had a fabulous holiday.

Christmas excitement

We are excited for Christmas. That is all that gets talked about in our house. The boys have been very good with our tree this year. We haven't had a single ornament broken (knock on wood). You can't really see in this picture but the boys are sitting by their new ornaments they picked for this year. Blake picked an Elmo and Jackson picked a Ninja Turtle (my brothers would be proud).

Temple square

We went to see the lights at Temple Square. We rode Trax. Jackson thought that was more fun than the actual lights.

We will be okay...we have a chimney!

Jackson would not leave me alone until we made a chimney. Well, we made one. The boys are so proud of it. They were trying to think of everyone that they could call to come look at it.

Santa

Santa visited us a little early at our ward party. We had tickets to a basketball game but Jackson decided that he would rather stay at the party to see Santa. Blake went to the basketball game with Chris. A few days later Jackson said,"We are in trouble Mom. We don't have a chimney so Santa can't come to our house. We need to buy one." I tried to explain that Santa is magic or that we would leave the door unlocked. None of these ideas were good enough. He decided that we would have to make one and put in on our wall. I guess that is going to be our project for the next couple weeks.

Fall

There was a HUGE pile of leaves. The boys had fun playing in them with a few of their friends from the court.

Halloween fun

Blake was Batman for Halloween. He is doing some fancy superhero move for the picture.

Jackson was Kung Fu Panda. He was so excited. He has been talking about being this for weeks.

They were so excited to go trick or treating. They didn't want to eat any dinner because they wanted to make sure they could go out with their friends.

We are having....

We had our ultra-sound yesterday. We found out that we are having another boy. I was really hoping for a girl but I do love my boys. Chris decided boys were all we knew how to make. I guess he is right. We are excited and now just need to get everything ready. We haven't decided on a name yet but Jackson really thinks we should name him Buzz Lightyear. I am pretty sure we won't but that is what he is calling him for the time being.

pony ride

As soon as Jackson saw the ponies he wanted to know if he had enough money in his wallet to ride. The boys were so cute and excited when they were watching the horses that I couln't say no. After a long wait, the boys got on and when is was time to get off, Blake didn't want to. He kept trying to get back on. The girl that was helping him was really nice and took him back to his horse and let him hug it and tell it goodbye. They still are telling people about the ride.

Blake's birthday

My baby is now 2 years old. I don't know if he was more excited about his birthday or if his brother was. I spent many hours making him a "Wiggles" cake. He was so excited to see it that he put his hand right in it and smeared the whole thing before his party even started. I guess he was happy about it and that is all that matters.

Fire station fun

The boys had alot of fun visiting our local firestation. They got to spray the hose and climb in the fire truck. They had a blast.

First day of pre-school

Tuesday was Jackson's first day of pre-school. He was so excited. Blake was not too happy. He cried the whole time asking where his Jackson was.

We're expecting!!!

We are going to have another baby! We are due March 16. I am trying to think girl but will take either as long as it is healthy. We were able to hear the heartbeat and our doctor has told us that we are out of the scary part. Hopefully all will go well with this pregnancy. We are very excited.

slackers!!!

I know that I have been a slacker at updating my blog. We have had a crazy little while. Last Thursday I had to take Chris to the ER because he had kidney stones. Wednesday I had to take Blake to the Dentist because he chipped his two front teeth and wouldn't eat anything. Thursday night I had to take Blake to the ER because his elbow was out of socket. It took three doctors several attempts to try to pop it back in. I guess Blake's elbow is as stubborn as he is. We are all fine now. Hopefully the ER doesn't get to know us to much better in the next little while.

California Vacation

We had so much fun on our vacation. We were able to spend some days in San Diego and a week in Newport Beach. Jackson and Blake at the zoo.
The boys loved Sea World. We ended up spending two days there because they had so much fun.

We decided to take the boys to Disneyland last minute. They had a fabulous time.
